SAN TAN VALLEY SPRING FESTIVAL

SPRING VIBES AND COMMUNITY SMILES:
San Tan Valley Spring Festival
We had such a wonderful time at the San Tan Valley Spring Festival! It was one of those perfect evenings where the weather was beautiful, the smiles were nonstop, and the sense of community was stronger than ever.
It was such a joy meeting so many amazing families and sharing what we do here at Fetter Automotive Repair. We loved getting to chat with folks about car care, answer questions, and just connect face-to-face. And of course, our always-popular “Spin to Win” wheel brought the fun—who doesn’t love walking away with a little prize? The candy filled Easter eggs were also a big hit with the kids (and probably a few parents too 😉).
We had the extra joy of sharing the evening with our family from Schell Shock pool cleaning—it’s always special when work and family overlap in the best way. A huge shoutout to Peterson Orthodontics for putting together such an amazing event. Their support of the community really shows, and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.
Events like this are a beautiful reminder of why we love being part of this community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, or just made the evening that much more special. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

JOB SHADOWING

SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF TECHNICIANS:
Josh’s Job Shadowing Day
Yesterday was an exciting day at Fetter Automotive Repair as we welcomed a bright young mind into the shop for some job shadowing! Josh, a junior in his first year of the EVIT Automotive program, joined us to gain some hands-on insight into what life is like in a working repair shop. Josh has a deep love for all things cars, and when his awesome family reached out to share his enthusiasm and desire to check out our shop, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to support a budding automotive technician.
With a day off from school, Josh came ready to observe, learn, and immerse himself in the experience. It just so happened that we were tackling a big job that day—a water pump replacement on a 2013 Ford Flex. If you know anything about this job, you’ll know it’s no walk in the park. It’s labor-intensive, time-consuming, and certainly not the most glamorous task in the world. But Josh’s enthusiasm never wavered! He watched intently as Marty worked through the complexities of the repair, asking thoughtful questions and soaking in every detail of the process.
We were truly impressed by Josh’s passion for the trade and his eagerness to learn. It’s not every day that we get to meet a young person so driven and genuinely interested in the work we do. Having him in the shop was a reminder of why we love supporting the next generation of automotive technicians. It’s inspiring to see their curiosity and dedication, and it’s a privilege to be a small part of their journey.
Josh, thank you for spending the day with us! We know you have a bright future ahead in the automotive field, and we can’t wait to see where your passion takes you. To anyone else out there dreaming of a career in automotive, never hesitate to reach out—we’re always happy to support and share our knowledge with those who share our love for cars and community.

CHRISTMAS SPONSOR FAMILY
DECEMBER 2024
OUR VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS SPONSOR FAMILY:
The Beginning of a Tradition
This holiday season, we embarked on a new journey that touched our hearts in ways we never imagined. At Fetter Automotive Repair, we’ve always believed in the power of community, and this year, we decided to take that belief to a new level by sponsoring a family for Christmas.
From the moment we opened nominations, we were overwhelmed by the incredible stories shared with us. Each submission reflected resilience, love, and hope, making the decision to choose just one family both humbling and difficult. Reading through these heartfelt stories reminded us of the strength and compassion that exists in our community, and we’re so grateful to everyone who trusted us enough to share their journeys.
After much thought, we selected our very first Sponsor Family for 2024. The experience of shopping, wrapping, and preparing gifts for them was nothing short of magical. Knowing we could brighten their holiday season with some extra love and support filled our hearts with joy. What made this experience even more special was involving our kids in the process. Seeing their excitement and understanding of the true spirit of giving was a beautiful reminder of what this season is all about.
One of our favorite moments was delivering the wrapped gifts, knowing the joy and relief they’d bring to this family. It’s hard to put into words how meaningful this experience was—not just for the family we supported but for us as well.
This tradition is one we’re determined to continue every year. Giving back to the community that has supported us means the world to us, and we’re inspired to keep spreading kindness and joy, one family at a time.
To everyone who nominated a family, shared our posts, or supported us in this effort: thank you. This was a community effort, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Let’s continue to lift each other up and make every holiday season brighter together.
Wishing you all a season filled with love, hope, and joy,
The Fetter Automotive Repair Family

MOCK INTERVIEWS FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNICATIONS STUDENTS
12-12-2024
CONNECTING WITH THE NEXT GENERATION:
Mock Interviews with ALA Students
This week, I had the incredible opportunity to partner with ALA's Communications class to help their Auto Pathway students prepare for the professional world. It was a unique experience, and I can’t express how much joy it brought me to interact with these amazing young minds who are passionate about pursuing careers in the automotive industry.
The process started with email correspondence—teaching students the importance of crafting professional pre-interview emails. From there, I had the pleasure of scheduling mock interviews with them, helping them practice not just their communication skills but also proper interview etiquette.
On interview day, I hosted mock sessions at ALA and got to sit across from these bright, eager students. Their enthusiasm for the trade and their willingness to learn were truly inspiring. Some students were stepping into this type of professional environment for the very first time, and it was an honor to guide them through it, offering feedback, encouragement, and a glimpse into the real-world expectations of the automotive field.
It’s moments like these that remind me how vital it is to give back to our community. Being able to share my knowledge, not just about automotive work but about professional development, felt like such a meaningful way to support the next generation.
One of the highlights for me was receiving a heartfelt email from their instructor, Ms. Mortland, thanking me for my involvement and sharing how much of a positive impact the experience had on the students and even their parents. Hearing that students walked away feeling more confident and encouraged is exactly why I love opportunities like this.
These young minds are the future of our industry, and it’s exciting to see their curiosity and drive firsthand. If this is what the next generation of technicians looks like, I’d say the future is in great hands.
Thank you to ALA for inviting me to be part of this wonderful initiative—it was an absolute pleasure!

CAR SHOW

Celebrating Community at our 2nd ALA Car Show
This past weekend, we had the privilege of participating in American Leadership Academy of Applied Technologies Car Show benefiting their Automotive program, and let me tell you—it was another incredible event! While we didn’t get to showcase our Bronco this year (she’s due for some much-needed paint touch-ups), we were just as excited to be part of the action and bring a little extra fun to the day at our stand.
Our fun additions this year? The Spin to Win wheel and merch stand! They turned out to be such a hit, especially with the students and parents who came by to test their luck with the wheel. The excitement and smiles on everyone’s faces as they won prizes (especially those coveted cans of Monster and Fetter Auto merch) were priceless. It was the perfect way to connect with the community and make the event a little more interactive—and we loved every minute of it.
What we love most about this car show is how it brings everyone together to support something so important: the next generation of automotive professionals. Seeing the passion and energy from the students in the not only the auto program, but all of them is inspiring, and being able to contribute to their growth is a true honor for us.
We’re also so thankful for the support of our amazing Fetter Automotive Repair family. Whether you stopped by to say hi, spun the wheel, or just showed up to cheer on the event, your encouragement means the world to us. It’s because of you that we get to do what we love while giving back to the community that has given us so much.
Thank you to ALA Applied Tech for hosting another incredible event and for letting us be a part of something that’s making such a positive impact. We’re already looking forward to next year—and who knows, maybe the Bronco will be back and better than ever!
Here’s to community, connection, and supporting the next generation. Thank you, ALA Applied Tech and Mr. Lambson, for all you do!

CAR SHOW & TRUNK OR TREAT
10-28-2023
CARS, TREATS, AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT:
Fetter Automotive Repair Takes on ALA's Car Show & Trunk or Treat!
The day was a whirlwind of shiny cars, sweet treats, and happy faces. We loved seeing friends, familiar faces from the community, and of course, the enthusiastic ALA students whose program we're so proud to support. Their hard work and dedication to making this event a success was truly impressive!
Our booth buzzed with excitement as kids and adults alike stopped by to enter for a chance to win some Fetter Automotive goodies, check out our FAR Race Team bikes and chat all things automotive and Broncos! It was amazing to see the community come together, with families and friends enjoying the cars and the festive atmosphere.
Our show-stopping entry, a 1996 Ford Bronco resto-mod built as a desert pre-runner, stole the hearts (and votes!) of the community, earning us a well-deserved first place finish in the Resto-Mod division. However, beyond the trophy, was the real reward connecting with our community and friends from the ALA program making this day truly priceless!
The day was a perfect blend of automotive passion, family fun, and community spirit. It's moments like these that remind us why we pour our hearts and souls into Fetter Automotive Repair – building connections, supporting our community as well as the next generation of skilled technicians and fostering genuine connections with our neighbors.
Being a part of the community is at the heart of everything we do here at Fetter Automotive Repair, and the ALA Applied Technologies Car Show & Trunk or Treat was the perfect way to celebrate that spirit.
We can't wait to be back next year!
